DECIDE has been notified about the Health Services Research Association of Australia and New Zealand’s 8th Health Services and Policy Research Conference which is being held in Wellington, NZ on 2-4 December 2013. This is a prestigious event and an opportunity to see first-hand what is happening in health services research and health policy in Australia and New Zealand.
The theme of the conference is 'Doing better with less: Enhancing health system performance in difficult times’. This theme reflects the need for health systems to focus on maintaining access to high quality health care with fewer resources, particularly at the present point in time with economic growth slowing down in recent years as a result of global financial crisis. The conference subthemes have been carefully chosen to represent key issues facing researchers, policy makers and practitioners, nationally and internationally.
